communication awareness training

A.B.C. offers this one-day course to all levels within an organisation. It focuses on the personal awareness of all attendees and asks questions of their preferred communication style. By doing this, we raise awareness of the differences between each person’s style and model of the world.

The course demonstrates by way of Neuro-Linguistic Programming methods and exercises on how we receive information; how we process it and the effect we have on others when we give information back.

The emphasis for A.B.C. on this course is awareness. By developing the attendee’s awareness, we help to create choice and with this comes flexibility. The employee with the most flexibility controls the situation and this is most useful within an NHS hospital when situations can become hectic rather quickly.

The course continues to offer benefits as the learnings are not fully realised until such a time it is necessary to utilise the new skills. This course also has a domino effect on others within teams as people become aware of changing attitudes, changing temperaments and therefore the potential for changing team cultures.
